Follow the adventures of Wanda Lou Wynette, world weary waitress, struggling to raise her little baby daughter amid the chaos of real estate booms and busts. You will meet her no-good, pageant-climbing, part-time lottery hostess of a sister, Brenda Sue Wynette, as she concocts get-rich-quick schemes that only a flexible mortgage broker could love. You’ll get to know the cozy crew at the diner: Al (gruff manager with a heart of gold), Ricky Bob (the busybody bus boy), Barbara Mae Bornstein (the Beast of Boca) and her son Biff (millionaire and self-confessed amnesia victim).
A jewel heist? A Pioneer Days Pageant? A mad plot to blow up a local landmark?
